Home ed group consisted of a quick intro about Australia Day followed by some aboriginal art pictures using cotton buds.
Next the kids took part in bushtucker trials to win gold coins, hands in mystery boxes to dig out the coins then onto drinking crocodile blood (tomato juice). A few bug challenges and then digging in jelly and mucky water for more coins. They all had great fun but I was too busy to take photos so just the one at the end.
They then moved on to making Sydney opera house paper plate hats.
Once home we carried on with the Australia Day theme and they coloured in a map of Australia by following the instructions.
