Today was the yearly 'not back to school' picnic. Before we left we managed to squeeze in some robot programming with the bee-bot.

Then onto the picnic, a few of us home edding families got together to celebrate the start of the new academic year. Some fun and games in the sun.

Before we went home we decided to have a quick blackberry picking session and view the damage to part of heathland nearby which was subject to a recent fire. Cue questions on how the fire could have started, how the fire fighters manage to control these sort of fires etc.

Boys then started their new swimming lessons followed by a lovely evening at home discussing shooting stars and trying to spot some in the garden. Tomorrow we are off to see Rhinos!
